God of the Day: Xiuhtecuhtli

Today's god is the Aztec god of fire and of day, called Xiuhtecuhtli. He is also known as the Lord of Turquoise, based on a close association between turquoise and fire, and he was also the god of time and of the year. You can find out more at Wikipedia.
