Project Idea: Nursery Rhymes

Nursery rhymes are fun source material to work with because they are so short... and they are often pretty weird, which is good way to get your imagination going!

Research Tip: You can start with the Nursery Rhymes unit in the UnTextbook, and there are some good books online: The Real Mother Goose by Blanche Fisher Wright, Mother Goose by W. W. Denslow, Mother Goose: The Old Nursery Rhymes illustrated by Arthur Rackham, and The Nursery Rhyme Book, edited by Andrew Lang. You can also find Wikipedia articles about some of the most famous rhymes: Jack and Jill, Little Bo Peep, Three Blind Mice, etc.
