Research Tips: Wikipedia is a great place to start learning about mermaids and other water-women under their various names: mermaids, sirens, undines, naiads, lorelei, selkies, rusalkas, nixies, melusines, and more.
You can also find mermaids in the stories at the Freebookapalooza; this search will give you all the books that have a story with "mermaid" in the title: Mermaids (use Control-F to find the specific story titles).
