The Stolen Statue of Manannan Mac Lir

This is a statue of Manannan Mac Lir, a Celtic sea god:

In January 2015, the statue was stolen from its location on Binevenagh Mountain near Limavady in Ireland, and the thieves left behind a cross along with a sign that read "You Shall Have No Other God But Me." The Limavady Borough Council paid for a replacement statue, duplicating the original (the original was recovered, but was too badly damaged to be put back on display), and the replacement statue was installed in December 2015.

You can read more about this case in the Belfast Telegraph (the source for this image). This article at the BBC appeared when the statue was first stolen, and this BBC article appeared when the damaged original was found.
