Project Idea: Creation Stories

Creation mythology is a wonderful topic because it allows you either to zoom in on a specific region of the world (such as Native American creation stories, creation stories of Asia) or to do a global project, since there are creation stories told in every culture.

Research Tip: Wikipedia has a huge List of Creation Myths which is a great place to get started. Then, based on the culture(s) you are most interested in, you can use other Wikipedia articles or books at the Freebookapalooza to help you find more detailed versions of the stories. You might also be interested in the overview of Creation Myth in general, and the different types of creation myths. There is also this useful book online: Creation Stories from around the World.
